Chicken Chile Casserole

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

1 can Chicken Soup with Rice
1 can chopped Green Chiles
1 lrg. can Tomatoes, drained
1 lb. Hamburger*, cooked and drained
1 bag Corn Tortilla Chips
1 lb. Cheese, grated
1 Onion, diced
1 T. Shortening

Saute onion in shortening. Add chicken soup, green chiles and tomatoes. Cook a few minutes and add hamburger. Alternate layer of corn chips, cheese and hamburger mixture. Top with chips and then cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

*Can substitute chicken for hamburger.
