Tator Tot Casserole


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Tator Tots
1 lb. Ground Beef
10 oz. chopped Broccoli, cooked
1 can French Fried Onions (optional)
1 can Cream of Celery Soup
1/3 c. Milk
1 c. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder

Line square casserole dish with tator tots. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, brown ground beef and drain. Place first beef, then broccoli and then half of the can of french fried onions in dish on top of tator tots. Combine soup, milk, garlic powder, and half of the cheddar cheese. Pour over ingredients in casserole and bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and onions. Put back in the oven until cheese is melted.

I think it's the little kid in me that loves this casserole. I've always been a fan of tator tots. I usually don't put the french fried onions in but I think the next time I make it, I'll put them on the top as a garnish and not in the middle like the recipe calls for.
